Mid back muscle strengthening exercise

This exercise strengthens the muscles situated in between your shoulder blades. Be cautious if you are suffering from or prone to shoulder strain.

Stand with your arms forward, holding the gym band. Breathe in deeply, and then slowly pull the band straight out past your sides, breathing out all the way.

Keep the wrists aligned with the forearm and hold for a count of 10, and then slowly return to the starting position whilst breathing in.

Repeat 10 times.
