Lower back and pelvis stretch & twist

This exercise stretches and mobilises the lower back and pelvis.

Lie on your back with a pillow under your head, and hug one knee to the same side shoulder whilst breathing out. Hold for a count of 5, then stretch to the opposite shoulder, again breathing out for a count of 5. Finally bring the leg across your body, holding the stretch for another count of 5 whilst breathing out. Bring the leg back to the starting position, and swap your legs round.

Perform the exercise with the other leg, and repeat the whole exercise.
