Hamstring Stretch

This exercise stretches the muscles in the back of the leg, which are shortened when seated.

Bring one leg forward by a couple of feet, heel on the ground and foot pointing up.

With straight arms behind a straight lower back, lean forwards whilst breathing out, keeping your leg straight, and hold for a count of 5. You should feel the stretch in the back of your thigh.

Perform the exercise twice with each leg.
