Stress Management Training Workshops

A workshop with the input of all of Bridge to Health’s key areas of expertise

Explicitly or otherwise, stress is probably the prime driver of workplace absenteeism, and certainly of “presenteeism”. Whether corporations are officially in denial or accept the negative impact of work-related stress on productivity and performance, the word “stress” nonetheless conjures up the image of a “bogeyman” gnawing away at the live forces of the organisation.

Yet stress is not purely negative, some pressure has always been required to push man into creative thinking and innovation. However, negative stress is a killer, it does have signs and symptoms, and is ignored at the peril of corporations and individual executives alike.

Distinctively, Bridge to Health’s hour-long stress management workshop draws on the breadth of skills of its therapeutic team – osteopaths, nutritionists, counsellors, coaches… – to help workshop delegates

  • Understand the widespread root-causes, symptoms and effects of stress;
  • Appreciate the range of remedial areas required to manage stress;
  • Consider a range of practical, daily steps and actions to pre-empt or counter the effects of stress; and
  • Acquire the motivation and confidence to articulate and initiate their own individual stress management programme

These workshops span one hour and involve small groups of 20-25 delegates to optimise participation and interaction. In larger corporations, up to 5 workshops can be scheduled over a working day to optimise the speed of skill acquisition and “cultural change”.
