An irony not lost on us as osteopaths is that professionals working in the current economic climate are more pressurised than ever before, more likely to suffer from stress-related aches and pains, but less able or inclined to take time off and seek advice. This scenario ultimately results in poor productivity or days lost due to preventable causes of “sickness”.
To improve employee access to professional health advice and support, we offer local organisations free onsite health consultation sessions (aka Pain Diagnostic Clinics).
At an agreed date, a fully qualified Bridge to Health osteopath will visit your company for a couple of hours – typically the lunch break – to see employees that will have pre-booked an appointment. For each appointment, we will then conduct a 15 minute case and health history overview, a focused examination, and then advise this person on the most helpful course of action, be it osteopathy or medical investigation. If osteopathy is indicated, we can then explain to the individual what is involved and how it can benefit them.
Many of our corporate clients schedule such sessions at regular intervals – monthly or quarterly depending on their size – as a health benefit for their employees.
